Basements and Underground
Structures Conference

As part of our Managing Director’s additional Role as Vice-Chair of the Steel Piling Group Fussey Piling attended the recent 14th Basements and Underground Structures Conference in London hosted by Ground Engineering Magazine. The conference was attended by over 300 delegates and was devised to explore the design and delivery of underground spaces using best practice and discussed the use and increased introduction of low carbon initiatives within the construction environment.

The photo shows David Baxter (ArcelorMittal Technical manager & Past-Chair) with Graham Hall (Fussey Piling MD & Vice Chair), Jessila Mooneyan, (Engineer ArcelorMittal) and Chris Barker (Divisional Director Arup & Past-Chair).

The conference was well attended, and many interesting concepts and discussions were had across the day.
